Matkin Hoover Engineering & Surveying is known for transcending any geographical boundary to fulfill our clients needs. Our surveyors have provided services to 60 different municipalities in Texas alone, and have mobilized field crews on projects throughout the United States and Worldwide. Working diligently over the years under the strictest of schedules they are proficient at eliminating the logistical hurdles and acquiring the project data needed by our clients.
Our capabilities are a direct result of our dedicated Survey Department. Jeff Boerner, R.P.L.S. is our Registered Professional Land Surveyor and is assisted by Surveyors-in-Training and numerous survey crews to ensure deliverables are provided accurately and expediently to our clients. MHES employs highly-qualified personnel who are equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art survey equipment to perform a wide array of surveying services. We have worked with many City, County, State and Federal agencies including; US Fish & Wildlife Service, US International Boundary and Water Commission, Department of Defense, Texas Department of Public Safety, US Army Corps of Engineers-Fort Worth District, and the US Marine Corps. We have performed surveys across the world and continue to expand our client base.

Mr. Boerner began his surveying career in 1984 in San Antonio, Texas, as a computer technician. Progressing higher in surveying field in 1987, he became certified as a Surveyor in Training (SIT) and later in 1991, he became a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Texas. Throughout his career Mr. Boerner has managed a wide range of Private, State and Federal contracts with agencies such as the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Texas Department of Transportation, and the US Army Corps of Engineers. These contracts include the preparation cost estimates, managing field crews, boundary and right of way analysis, preparation of plats and field notes, topographic and construction surveying.

As a Project Manager Mr. Quicksall supervises and organizes surveying projects to ensure they are executed efficiently and delivered with a high standard of quality. He has managed site layout on a multitude of construction projects and utilizes this experience with his formal engineering education to offer thorough solutions that meet our clients’ needs and schedules. In addition to his superior construction surveying support, Mr. Quicksall directs the field crews and office team on numerous boundary and retracement surveys; practicing accurate resolution methods based on state and federal standards.
Kristopher Pressler

Mr. Pressler has 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Land Surveying industry. He currently is responsible for the oversight of multiple field crews, providing scheduling and coordination of daily field activities, as well as office processing and submission of final deliverables. Providing thorough direction to crews his projects are completed within allotted time limits and per project specifications and requirements. Mr. Pressler has managed numerous projects locally, nationwide, and worldwide; he is a key component within the department.
