Sonterra

Sonterra is a large, multi-use community that was master-planned to accommodate residential home sites, multi-family living, and commercial businesses. Matkin Hoover Engineering & Surveying played a key role in helping to establish the Sonterra Municipal Utility District with our presentation at the House Legislative Session Hearings. In helping to develop this community from its conception, Matkin Hoover provided land planning and a master utility plan for Sonterra’s own public water system which consists of a 300,000 gallon ground storage tank and water transmission lines. A waste water treatment plant with 0.15 mgd which includes three lift stations and a force main, two sanitary sewer stations and collection lines. We also coordinated underground storm sewer and electric.
