First Baptist Church
Taylor, Texas
First Baptist Church of Taylor, Texas was growing out of their existing facilities and purchased a 15-acre tract on the Northwest side of Taylor for a new campus. Matkin-Hoover coordinated with the project architect and building committee to develop a master plan for the site. This master plan was broken into three-phases. The first phase included a 26,000 sf church building and an additional 65,000 sf of future classrooms, gymnasium and worship center. The church is planning a small private school with the next phase of this development. Our office prepared construction plans and specifications for all associated site improvements necessary to support this campus and its facilities for the future expansions.
